NCA Skin Pathway Board (NCSPB)
Skin Pathway Board
The NCA Skin Cancer Pathway Board provides a collaborative forum for strategic focus and vision for skin cancer services throughout the North of Scotland Health Boards.
Skin cancer services in the North of Scotland
In 2016, about 500 patients were diagnosed with skin cancers in the North of Scotland. Diagnosis and treatment is available from the three North cancer centres in Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness.
The aim of this Pathway Board is to facilitate regional working between the centres, ensuring a focus on improving patient outcomes.
For more information on the symptoms, investigation and treatment of skin cancers, please visit the NHS Inform website.
