In that, the NCA Board oversees four key themes to the improvement of cancer services in the North:

  1. Improving survival from cancer and the experience of care
  2. Lead radical transformation of how cancer services are delivered across the North population to ensure sustainability
  3. Create collective responsibility for the quality and outcomes of cancer care pathways
  4. Work in partnership with patients, primary care and the third sector to achieve change
