What is TRiM?

TRiM is suitable for every staff member (clinical or support staff) who has been witness to or affected by an traumatic event or repeated exposure to trauma within their working environment. TRiM seeks to provide assistance for managing normal reactions to potentially distressing or traumatic situations and prevent the development of further difficulties. It is not primarily a mental health intervention nor is it intended to meet the needs of someone in an acute mental health crisis.
