To meet unprecedented healthcare challenges facing the NHS in Scotland, the Scottish Government highlighted the need for research, innovation, and redesign in the NHS Recovery plan (2021) as a key priority. The NHS works with industry partners, academics, and funding bodies to provide clinical test beds which test close to market solutions that fit with NHS Scotland’s strategic priorities and system wide challenges.
The North of Scotland Innovation Hub is one of three regional innovation test beds in Scotland. Our vision is to support the development, evaluation and implementation of innovative solutions and products with the potential to transform health and social care delivery and address demographic, economic, and workforce challenges. Our aim is to take a collaborative approach to support the development, evaluation and implementation of innovation across the six boards in the North of Scotland.
